DRIVERS CAN CHECK THEIR ORDERS FROM HERE BY
CLICKING ON THE - DRIVER ORDER
SCREEN - FROM ANY PERSONAL COMPUTER - ANYTIME ANYWHERE. THE PROGRAM IS CALLED
"CC WIRELESS".

- Turn
the Samsung SCHn370 digital cellular phone ( the Samsung ) on, by pressing and
holding down the END
key, until the LED (
top left of the phone ) light comes on then let go.
The phone will ( boot-up ) become active.
- Driver
Menu Screen:
In order to establish a wireless connection to On The Double ( OTD ) Dispatch,
you must follow subsections a through e below. Please note: you only need to do this after
boot-up. Idem: when you re-boot the phone, or
change the battery. Otherwise, the
phone and browser should be on 24 hours a day, even when charging.
- Press
the MENU key.
- Using
the NAVIGATION key - move to
the Globe ( 3:Web ), and press OK ( or press 3 ).
- Start
the Browser -
by
pressing 1 ( OpenWave BellMobility browser will activate ).
- Using
the NAVIGATION key - move (
down ) to: My Menu,
and press OK- MENU (
or press 8 ).
- Using
the NAVIGATION key - move to: ON THE DOUBLE, and press OK- MENU ( or press 1 ).

Switch back to phone mode by pressing the END key any time ]
Working
With Orders:
Once you complete subsections a through e, you should see the driver Menu: screen ( the main menu
screen ). Make sure your driver number is correct:
Drv-your number. If the phone does not display your driver number,
return the phone to OTD without continuing. However,
if the driver number is your assigned number, please continue ( this menu is also referred
to as the driver main menu screen ).
- Submenu
1 Unaccptd: When OTD Dispatch, dispatches an order, it appears
as Unaccptd ( only after this
menu is refreshed ).
- You
refresh:
by pressing CLR ( this key
moves you back through the screens ), just like the back on a normal Internet browser. You need to move backwards to ON THE DOUBLE ( same as section 2 - subsection e ) by
pressing CLR until you
arrive at ON THE DOUBLE, press
1 ( moving forward ) as you did before.
- Menu
1 Unaccptd ACCEPTING AN ORDER: Please note: when you accept an order, you are telling
OTD Dispatch that you have read the order, and will pick up the order - in accordance with the order criteria, such as
pick up and delivery time.
- In
the main menu screen - press 1.
- In
this submenu, you will see a list of orders ( if you have any ) sorted by the pick up
address.
- You
select the order for review by pressing the number to the left of the address ( or press OK ) on the highlighted
order.
- You
can view the order details by moving down the order with the NAVIGATION key.
- You
accept this order by pressing the MENU key ( just above that
is acp ).
- Refresh.
- Menu
2 Disptchd
MARK THE ORDER AS PICKED UP: ( the first thing you do when you receive a
package-envelope-box-skid-tube ( or whatever ) is to mark the order as picked up ).
- In
the main menu screen - use the NAVIGATION key to highlight 2 Disptchd - press OK ( or press 2 ).
- Find
the order by using the NAVIGATION
key - scroll to the pick up address, again you may select the order by pressing the MENU key for Go, or press the number to the
left of the order address.
- After
you make a selection, you will see optns below the order. Press the MENU key. This section gives the following options
with respect to this order: 1
pickup / 2 Transfer
/ 3 Back.
i.
Press
1 for pickup if OTD Dispatch receives your message, you will get an instant message
back: Order yadda yadda picked up successfully [ok].
ii.
Press
OK- MAIN ( on the right )
and go back to the main menu screen. The
pick up time is automatically added to the order.
- Menu
3 In Prog.
MARK THE ORDER AS DELIVERED: ( the first thing you do when you deliver a
package-envelope-box-skid-tube ( or whatever ), is to mark the order as delivered. In
Prog. means in progress which means you are in possession of the item ).
- In
the main menu screen - use the NAVIGATION key to highlight 3 In Prog - press GO-MENU ( or press 3 ).
- Find
the order by using the NAVIGATION
key - scroll to the delivery address, again you may select the order by pressing the MENU key for GO, or press the number to the left
of the order address.
- After
you make a selection, you will see optns below it. Press the MENU key. This section gives you the following
options: 1 Delivered / 2 Transfer / 3 Back.
i.
Press
1 for Delivered
ii.
You
will be prompted for the POD (
proof of delivery ). Use the phone keypad to
put the name in. Please note: If you make a mistake, press CLR to move back.
iii.
After
the name is in, press the MENU
key ( just above that is dlvrd
).
iv.
If
OTD Dispatch receives your message, you will get a message back: Order yadda yadda
delivered successfully [ok].
v.
Press
the OK-MAIN key for the main
menu screen. The screen is refreshed
and ready.
- Deleting
Text-Voice Messages
in phone mode press the OK
key to access the Mail Kit.
- Using
the NAVIGATION key - scroll
down to 7: Erase Msgs, or
press 7.
- Use
the NAVIGATION key - scroll to
the Voice or Inbox you wish to delete the messages in.
- It
will ask: Clear All?
Press the MENU
key for OK: Erase.
- Are you sure use the NAVIGATION key - scroll down to Yes if youre sure. Press the OK ( RIGHT SIDE )key.
- Phone
and Browser Mode: You are in phone mode when you see your phone
number on the start screen. You are in
browser mode when working the order.
